PulsePoint expanding to help save the lives of more cardiac arrest victims

When someone enters cardiac arrest, they often have between four to six minutes to receive CPR before they lose brain functions or die. There is little chance of survival after 10 minutes, as approximately 95 percent of cardiac arrest victims die before reaching a hospital. Fortunately, the crowdsourcing app PulsePoint aims to increase the likelihood of victim survival by alerting users when there is someone nearby in need of CPR.  Continue reading
