iPad owners more likely to browse the web than read a book

iPad owners are more likely to use their tablet to browse the Internet, while Kindle Fire owners spend most of their time reading eBooks, claims the Wall Street Journal, which was reporting on data compiled by Statista.  This trend follows other earlier studies that suggest web browsing and online media consumption are popular activities among iPad owners.
