MLB to use iOS 7′s iBeacons in stadiums to create interactive experience for fans

Apple highlighted a lot of features when it introduced iOS 7 in June, but a feature that it didn't talk about much was iBeacons, a special Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) profile that lets apps accurately detect location information indoors, something GPS fails at terribly due to low signals.
