Trying to boot different flavours on AMD but PC just resets

Hi, I'm trying to install osx86 on my AMD desktop which is: Processor AMD Athlon X4 630 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 Graphics Adaptor Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT I've tried a few different flavours of leopard and snow leopard and made the recommended changes to bios, but every time I try and boot from one of the osx86 install dvds the computer just resets - can't even get into any kind of install menu. I've managed to get osx on to my samsung netbook and that runs just fine. Really don't know where to start - could it be bios? If I'm posting in the wrong place please tell me to get lost, but at least give me a hint or where to get lost to :P
